Memories from 40 years in the stamp and coin business

We hired Tracey Bell to impersonate Marilyn Monroe promoting the U.S. Marilyn stamp. Didn’t sell like Elvis but I still see popular culture issues as a way to introduce people to our hobbies.

Rode the roller coaster with Bill Bailey, while attending the British North America Philatelic Society, at the West Edmonton mall.

Canada issued the Schoolhouse invert stamps and Dan bought some from Gary Lyon. My favourite snack was a coke and a coffee crisp.
