My dear Charlie
I have just a moment to drop you a line and send a draft for £10 have been very busy for the past two weeks moving around & am now at Headquarters & we are all moving to a place called Potchefstroom which will be the Headquarters of our Division in future. So always address me A Division S.A.C. Potchefstroom, Transvaal, S.A. nevermind where I write from as all letters are sent out to & the troops from Headquarters. We are having very hot summer weather & lots of thunder storms the war is still going on the same as ever. I see they are sending another Canadian Contingent. Did anyone from Vancouver go? I am glad you are all living together but I don’t like the place hope you will try & get a small cottage. I will write a longer letter by next mail as I must now close.
