1986 Vancouver Centennial Silver Dollar
This silver dollar marks the Centennial of the inauguration of the Trancontinental Railroad and the founding of the City of Vancouver. The reverse features engine 371 and the first transcontinental passenger train with the city of Vancouver in the background. Today, engine 371 is restored and preseved in The Roudhouse in downtown Vancouver's Yaletown district.
		The coin was designed by Canadian artist Elliot John Morrison. The diameter of the coin is 36.07 mm and it weighs 23.33 gm. Proof Silver Dollar $14.95 CDN
